Here is another relatively inexpensive solution: the Highway Hawk Spotlight brackets are marketed for the Vulcan 900 Classic, but they are perfectly compatible with the mounting points on our Drifters.

I purchased these brackets when the National Cycle N940 I had ordered was marked as "lost" by the courier.

Murphy's Law dictates that the day after receiving and installing the Highway Hawk brackets, a courier arrived with the lost National Cycle N940... one of the spotlights was dented and the outer brackets for mounting the spotlights were slightly bent. In the end, I had the N940 bar repaired by a local shop and added other spotlights (which I personally prefer to the National Cycle ones).

That said, here are some photos of the the Highway Hawk brackets.

I purchased the National Cycle light bar N940 for my VN800-E2.
The design of the light bar is poor, and the standard of manufacture was unbelievably bad.

Lightbar Adapter Kit for use with Rifle Classic Windshields
Installation of a Kawasaki Light bar (PN-K32001-003) on a 2003 800 Drifter
Krator Chrome Motorcycle Passing Light Bar & Turn Signals Compatible with Kawasaki VN Vulcan Classic Nomad Drifter 1500 (Bracket Modification Required)		You are likely better off doing one of the nolightbar mods. These are really cheap. There is also a black version.
Kirks No Lightbar Solution  - Works for Drifters
Light bars for Vulcan Classic are reported to work with Drifters.
NATIONAL CYCLE CHROME LIGHT BAR FOR KAWASAKI 1999-2008 VN1500FI, DRIFTER 800 1500		EU source. Custom Cruisers. This appears to be the N940 which USA NC no longer lists. N925 is available and fits Vulcan Classic 1600A. It MIGHT fit the Drifter. (If anyone has experience with either of these please let us know.)
Cheap Spots Mod		Mod which repositions turn signals with an adapter.
National Cycle Lightbars		According to NC, " The mounts used on the N940 Light Bar VS the N925 Light Bar are different and are not interchangeable."    (But are they adaptable? )
