Buy a TRAILER on CRAIGSLIST.
Use it for your trip, and then sell it again on CRAIGSLIST when you get back.

Free use of a trailer, I do it every time I need a trailer, never had a problem re-selling it back on CRAIGSLIST.

I and three others are headin' to AZ in March.  We're having big trouble finding a trailer to haul the bikes.  I'm located in northern VA.  Anybody know of a source to rent an 18 footer?  bjw
