Well as soon as I try and take off... When I disengage the lever pretty much and even with a little throttle it'll stall out...it goes into gear jus when I take off

The fuel filter is inside the tank, connected to the pump. Does the engine stop as soon as you put it in gear?

Can it also be the fuel filter? I actually might be running a lil rich because when I changed the spark plugs I was told they were saturated and they did smell alot like fuel...??

The wiring diagram and the service manual are not helpful. Shows it's a 2 wire switch, on or off.....There should be a connector under the engine with the two wires in it. I would first try disconnecting it and see if the engine runs, and if it doesn't , jumper across the harness side connector and see what happens. I suspect the two poles must be connected, but there is NO information in the manual....

If the engine runs until you pop it in gear, and then stops..the sidestand switch is probably the culprit. I'll look at the wiring diagram for it and get back to you.

Oh I see the cable that runs behind the sidestand? How do I go about this?
