I just checked bike bandit, and the pumps are different part numbers, but the mounting plate and hoses are what appear to be the big difference...the pump, itself seems to be the same, so you would have to transfer the pump to your mounting assy, no big deal.

I have a fuel pump....should be a bolt in for you... This thing cost me over $650 to order, and it turned out it wasn't the problem. I am not expecting to get much out of it, so make me an offer. There are a bunch of tip over switches on eBay for around $10 each, you should have the correct thing installed. The EFI light should come on when you key it up and then go out after a few seconds, unless there is a fault in the system. The fuel pump should develop about 45 psi and a LOT of volume.

Ok, you REALLY need to replace the sensor before you proceed.

That's really a shame. I bought mine out of a barn with a broken trans. It had been sitting for at least 3 maybe 4 years...Making it new again has been my mission, and I've put 22,000 miles on it since spring of 2010....Are you sure the sensor is really missing, or are you assuming that? Does the efi light come on when you turn on the key?

thanks troll i just wasnt sure if there was a way around it.um there is a recall onit but i think without the old one they wont give me a new one.and i know that my father inlaw didnt bring it in for the recall.he also had a power comander on it he said that it would just load up and it ran like crap. so i took it off.i think i should check a few other things like the kickstand switch ect.cause i have no spark or fuel.i would really like to just get her goin again for him cause the bike has not seen the road sence 06 its only got 3200 miles on it.

I believe the short answer is no...there is more in there than a simple switch...that said, there are a bunch of them on eBay starting at about $5
