Swing arm alignment

What about your rear suspension swing arm pivot shaft or rocker arm pivot shaft (see the service manual), are they loose or are the needle bearings worn? Because either of those being loose or worn out would create asymmetry especially on the left side where under a load the drive chain is trying to pull the swing arm over towards the frame.  In order to check the wear in the pivot shafts/ bearings you normally have to disassemble everything for inspection, but you might be able to learn something if you put it up on a lift and loosen the chain and pull side to side.  Was doing a little work on the back end and noticed that my swing arm ( near the pivot point ) is closer to the  left side of the frame than the right by about 1/2". In a previous post I had some pics of how the  left side of the swing arm had contacted an extra long seat bracket bolt that the previous owner had installed. Starting to wonder about a twisted frame? or side play on the swing arm. Checked the side to side movement at the swingarm pivot area and found some play but not excessive (about .060-.120" ). Apparently there is no way of adjusting the side to side as it is determined by the length of the inner spacer.
Curious as to what swing arm spacing is like on other 800's. Maybe they are built like this? Reposting my swing arm contact pic to clarify the area that i am talking about.
Also while I was working on the back end i pulled out the Uni-trac arm ( OEM description) and dealt with the shaved off grease zerks. Ended up re tapping threads and after greasing I removed the zerks and installed pie plugs untill they were flush with the body.
I also pulled the shock to check out the adjustment mechanism and found that the shock was still at the factory setting of 4.  Moved it up to 6.
