Yeah, the fuel system would be the next place to look if the electricals are ok.

Cheers.

Thus this does not seem your motorcycle properly petrol agrees. maby is your tank ventilation not in order. I would put sometimes with the driving the petrol tap not on off and reserve separate on flow. Should it function then the low-pressure tube of the petrol tap or has come off defective. It can also be you mud in the tank have itself over and over again before the float pin places.

Thanks...I did put a battery on it a couple of months ago...I'll start there.

I'd check the battery and battery connections first. Make sure there are no bare spots in the wiring etc.

Check the charging system: If the regulator/rectifier isn't working properly, the bike will start and run, but the battery will discharge when running and eventually quit. The battery will recharge enough to restart after a few minutes. Had the problem on a HD.

If the timing is just coincidence, you may have a bad sensor. Usually this isn't a "time" related problem, however. So, if the regulator/rectifier is ok you might check the kickstand sensor, and bike down sensor.

Please keep us advised.

Cheers.

Ok...looking for some help.  Bikes starts fine and idles great.   Once you put it in gear and ride it, it will run fine then after about a mile then engine just quits.    It doesn't sputter, it just dies like you hit the kill switch.

After about 15 min. it starts up again and dies again after about about a mile.

Looking for any ideas about where to start.
