Or it could just be a typo.  When they wrote the specs for the manual, I'm guessing some engineer used a previous version for a template.....  maybe it had "center" stand, and they just didn't catch it to change it.

 Well most stands I have seen will seem to tilt the bike forward and have the rear wheel off the ground and the front on the ground. But ok I'll buy your version.....lol....

It doesn't mean a center stand is installed. It means any stand used to level the bike - at least that is what I think.
