That buddy is my son. He graduated from University of Northwestern Ohio yesterday! So he still really enjoys working on stuff. Lol. Just try to get that cutting wheel out of that young mans hand.

I wonder if this voids the warranty...

Cutting wheel or grinder is OK, just don't let them find out you were using the torch....
No Worries

operator install issues......perhaps.......

Perhaps. I thought it would slip right in considering the slight mod (bent the big washer)  I made for the two up. Anywho, we bent the big washer a little more and rounded out the bar a tad. Wha la. It's good to go.

Now, the new Corbin solo seems a lot different than the two up. The two up is a harder seat where the solo seems softer to the touch. It also doesn't seem to have the deep bucket that the two up has. Without having rode with the solo on yet, (i have sat on it) I'm prematurely a little disappointed. Has Corbin changed anything with the Drifter seats?

I've not heard of any changes, but I suspect they don't sell a bunch of them for the Drifter.

Yep, it happens with all the corbins. I think they originally made that front connect point to fit a 99... which is a little bit different.

I have read that thread and it helped installing my twoup. That's the reason for a new thread. The large washer already has a bend and the twoup, which now slides in easy just like the thread said it would. But the solo has the same problem the twoup had before I modify it. Hmm. The twoup bar has been rounded out to help I bet I'll have to do the same thing for the solo. I was just curious if anyone else had the same problem with the solo.

The following discussion is about a double seat but the problem is likely the same... have a look at the front of the seat and how it fits onto the front connection point. It IS a tight fit in the beginning... but it gets better as you use the seat for some reason.

I'm trying to install a new Corbin solo and seem to be off about 1/4 inch. Any suggestions?
