Actually, the drifter was only supposed to be a very limited production. They planned to limit the production to 2-3 per dealer for 3 years. So, apparently they sold better than expected.

I'm curious, being the newbi that I am, why was the Drifter nixed in '05, but the Nomad and the Classic live on?  (slow sales, lawsuit from a certain resurected motorcycle brand, etc.)

I was just at the dealership today and they didn't know (or didn't want to say).
