The Arctic Snowsnake is VERY deadly; many trappers, outdoorsmen, anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors can be in danger from these...they commonly get people who have to answer the call of nature in the great outdoors, and brush off a log to sit on while tcob. The snowsnake then...are ya ready for this?.....they then....crawl up your butt and freeze you to death!!  

So...related to the one eyed trouser snake..with the same mode of attack as the Australian dunny spider..

well I think that is really not that nice to speak of 49 in such a manner, he is really deep down a nice fella. Notice that it was himself who hijacked my thread about a serious question to snakes and snow, and tar snakes to top it off. At least on this side of the water, road gators are the parts of semi truck tires that somehow get separated from the rest of the tire...tar snakes are the strips of sealant or rubber insulators put between road sections, or more properly, the patch stuff the highway department puts in to "fix" cracks, that works it's way out, or remains slippery through out it's life span.

ok let us answer this in order.....

JH = snow snakes can not be seen on the snow then they are like the Ptarmigan is the common name of birds of the genus Lagopus, it may refer to: Rock Ptarmigan, Lagopus muta, known as Ptarmigan in Europe;  Willow Ptarmigan, Lagopus lagopus, or Willow Grouse; White-tailed Ptarmigan, Lagopus leucura, restricted to United States and Canada.

Bake that is not a snow snake it is not white.

tar snakes are made on the road........

ok I used to play with snow snakes as a child into my teen years it is a very interesting game amoung the natives in Northern Canada.

And...think about the first one to eat a lobster......What the hell do you do with this, anyway?  As far as the snowhawk, I was referring to the ridge of snow that develops on your car hood or roof as you drive through a blizzard.....I've never seen a snow snake, but plenty of tar snakes.

So Iroquois (Haudenosaunee) Nations had a legend of the deadly and teriffying snow snake. They are while in colour and lay hidden on the top of fresh fallen snow and blend right in. Often Onondaga men travel to the different communities of the Haudenosaunee to hunt this fantastic animal, they have a really awesome flavour if cooked with wild onions and garlic. The snakes are only 3/4 of an inch in diameter so hunters are very careful to get the best snakes, this size seems to make the best meals, they grow to be at least 6 ft long however. You can google this and see if I am right. I can say that as a child growing up in a norhtern commuinity we actually had dealings with snowsnake.

So why not wait until summer when all the snow is gone and the snow snake stands out like a trud in a swimming pool..and also when you kill a snow snake does a snow angel take it to heaven..

Troll... I took the liberty of obtaining a reference photo to show the variations between snow snakes and snow hawks... The snow hawk is the one with the wings... The snow snake is the meal!

  ok so the blue worked really well they fit really snug, and yes I used shrink tubing on all the connections. JH I have shippeda  snow snake out to Troll as pay back along with a really nice framed picture of myself in the snow.........see who laughs last......

Used apower source from a snowmachine/marine grade........

Yellow is for 14 ga, blue for 16, and red for 18.....I always liked solder and heat shrink, but crimp works if you have a good crimping tool that makes a "W" crimp, not just squashing them in the middle...Put some heat shrink in the wire before you crimp, and then slide it up over the blue (or red, or yellow) insulator on the connector, and warm it up to seal out the Canadian weather.....

So I am looking at the connectors and I have never seen a blade that is large enough to slide in and can not find any, one of the auto electrical places suggested that the plugs were made to plug 2 wires into them, and I know about over loading and all that because I have been reading the other post with interest on this subject, but the plugs look like this = Top picture

the guy suggested that I use the bullethead plug as seen in the second picture.

I am looking to only power a MP3 player and a GPS at the most.....

so those bullethead plugs would work and be snug, am I on the right path here?

We call them crimp bullet connectors and they come in different colors for different thickness..the figure eight socket is so you can attach two items in one socket..the bullet connector you show will work with that socket which will be a bit loose but you can close the socket with a pair of pliers to make a tight fit or you can use the red connector which (I think) is slightly bigger...while you are asking for a dog dick connector you could also ask for some film perforations for unperforated film, a left handed screwdriver/hammer, a bucket of steam and a larger wrench or a longer piece of string.

Cut them off, solder-and shrink-tube on connectors you are used to, or go to Kawi and see if they have OEM connectors.

   Well Troll went to Wally World (Wal Mart) they had no clue as to dog dicks for electrical connectors were and the dude there was really old at least as olda s49 and PC he was really dusty. Figured he would know, then went to an auto place and got the deer in the head lights look. So going to use the ones I have, and I got some shrink tubing to cover them with and will make it right. Went and bought the rest of the parts and will mount it upo this weekend. Have a good nite.
