I'll take one home, and see if it will fit this weekend.  Come to think of it, my 800 is headed towards being a solo setup, so I'll need them on mine anyway.

No Worries

Drift1

GB .... I'm not sure what size I need , don't you have two in the garage you could check the caps on for me to be sure they will work  ::) .... LOL ....  ;D ;)

Iron thank you for the compliment , brother . MA- DEUCE has come a long way since purchasing her a little over two years ago . I'm close to getting her were I in visioned . When my secret custom made part is done I think many will agree she'll be on a new level  ;) .... No pressure intended GB , just saying .

check at a NAPA store, if you have one nearby. --Chrome lug nut caps--  They should have them in the back room, or at least be able to order them.  They come in various sizes for various lug nut sizes - 1", 1 1/4, etc.   I have some of the 1" if that size will work for you....

No Worries

Drift1

Yup I know what your talking about . I never thought of that I was looking for cylinder truck lug covers . I stopped at a truck rest area in Virginia , but they only had ones with a silhouette chic on the end .... If it's nice this weekend I'll run the bike over to a truck stop about 30 miles from me to see if they have what I'm looking for .

ok for the pegs, not sure what the name is but the square plastic plugs used to cover the open end of square tubing, but instead of putting it in you use it to cover......if that makes sense....

Those do look good, only things I would fix.........era correct mirrors and lose the rear foot pegs now that you have your 1500 for 2 up riding......jmo....

Couldn't agree with you more . I put these hideous mirrors on when I first bought the bike being the were cheap and I needed a mirror for inspection purpose's . I've spent so much time thinking of mods that the mirrors just kept slipping my mind ... LOL  ::) The rear pegs are next to come off being I'll never use them , but waiting on finding covers for that area before doing so . I Looking for something like 2Beers did to his , but just haven't found what I'm looking for just yet .

Ok so yesterday after work it was still pouring a$& rain , and being both bikes are now in the garage I decided to start mounting up my new custom made saddle bags done by Osprey . I was able to get the brackets on and drill the 2 holes each to mount the bags , the only issue I ran into was the bolts supplied by Osprey were just to short to mount the bags through the brackets . Today right after work I stopped by our old time , MOM and POP hardware store to get longer bolts . Man I just LOVE that place ! Ok that's another story  ;) Anyway here's a couple pics I took just recently with the bags mounted .

Drift1

Thank you Pilgrim . I'm going to try to find the time to mount the bags this week , hopefully . It's baseball season for my little guy so between swim class and this there just isn't enough hours in a day . I'll post picks as soon as the project is completed .

PC ... man that's to bad  :-\  Would have been nice to see Miss Nadine , finally .
