That's a good story there 49.Well finally installed the crach bars today on my bike.Construction on MA-DEUCE is getting closer,"At least for this year!"LOL...heres a couple pics:

Ever have a real Florida sea gull take off from the middle of a shell rock road, carrying a land crab run into the side of your bike?

A while back I read an article in a H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) magazine about a couple toodling through a desert somewhere in the states, when a raven took off right in front of the bike with something in its talons; it was too heavy, so it dropped it to get out of the way. The rider ducked, his wife hollered; "I'm hit, I'm hit", so he pulled over and stopped......and found out that the raven had dropped a road killed skunk; when he ducked, his wife got it in the face. Wonder who slept outside that night......

Thanks PC,Your right!There's deffinately been long hard hours in the proccess,but I'm enjoying all the learnering experience's along the way.Honestly it would have never been made possible if it weren't for the ideas and sharing of expertise here on this forum.Thank you for the introduction and many thanks to my fellow members for the support and patience.The accomplishments to this project reflects a lot of members here.

Two things I always tell my Rider Ed. Students: Never let a dog get close enough to grab your pants leg...they don't let go, and never run into a pig....you'll just make the pig mad...you don't have to know how I know this....

I did a bird on my shin once at 55mph.  Does that count?

Try a hummingbird on the chin for a little bit of excitement!

  Sorry I missed you posts here PC, and I think that the people that own the shop are trying to expand too fast...they have had a family run business about an hour from here in a small town, and it was boats, bikes, ATVs, snowmachines. They were doing good and had a lot of loyal customers from the area, lots of small towns and so people do not mind driving to get things done or that they need, not like living in a huge metropolitin area. So they opened the store here in North Bay, about a year ago......it was supposed to be Bikes, ATVs and snowmachines, then the owner got this smart idea because of the huge back area to open a hot tub business involved with the store, but he did not hire more help, sent the 4 people working there to hot tub school....ok....

Like mayfly season, or mosquito's that don't just suck your blood, but carry you back to the hive for a feast......

we don't get any mafly's here, but we do have blackflies and noseeums...oh and deer flies too. they can take you off your bike if you are not ready for them.......

Wow,that's different.My in laws live about 30 miles north of me and there's a store in there little town called Trading Post.It's a one stop shop,my man.I mean they sell building materials,painting supplies,lawn furniture,groceries etc...You can actually go there pick up a barbeque grill,steak and eggs,fishing pole with tackle.a dozen worms,lawn chair,bathing suit,sunscreen and head to the lake for a fun filled day.That's no exageration either,dude.I love these one stop shops,honestly.

D1...buddy you need to come up north here and check it out, be surprised at what is sold in the same stores. about an hour from here is a really samll town called Verner,  and they have a bike shop, it also sells all kinds of farm and yard equipment

something not shown or stated they have the best prices for leathers and bike clothing.......in a 500 mile radius.....

Sounds like this shop is trying to faze out there motorcycle clientell for a new line of business,to me.I mean I've never seen a place that sold these items together.(hot tubs & Motor equipment)little odd.Now I could see selling ice shammy's....and tip ups being it is the great north.....
