anybody have a quick-release windshield on their drifter?

the mount is for a 800 vulcan classic, but its not a direct bolt-on.  took a little bit of cutting and fabbing to get it to work.

I didnt see you posted or I wouldve replied.  I saw this the other day when I was catching up on some reading on the forum.  I took some pics today so I could post them.

I went with the memphis shades windshield.  I really like their quick release latches with positive latching.
it takes about 5 seconds to remove it, and about 10 seconds  to install.
the windshield is the memphis fats model and is the tallest one they sell.
I couldnt be more happy with it.
it would be nice if the mounts where a little more stealth, but I can live it

I guess I'll wait a couple weeks since I'm in no hurry, and then order the one in the link.  I'll email the company first and make sure the kit and ws is indeed for the vulcan 800.
I'll post pics if it turns out to be everything we're hoping it to be

Thought I wanted that too when I got my first windshield bike... 1) anything that comes off in 10 seconds makes it too easy for a thief; 2) the only time I will ever take it off is at home before a ride... so 5 minutes one way or the other doesn't matter... 3) after riding with a windshield, I won't ride much without it any event!

Its very likely someone has done it... I will look around as well.

Anything that would fit a Classic would fit our bikes.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is has anybody ever installed a actual quick-detach type set up to their drifter?
I realise that the most common bracket I see used (the one that bolts underneath the risers), is actually a pretty quick remove and install for just the windshield, but that bracket is pretty bulky.
that one was actually installed on it when the bike was bought.
the quick detach brackets in the link I posted appear to be alot less bulky

I do not want the kind that attaches to the handlebars.
