I installed it so it looks towards the horizon but not past the chrome part of the wheel.

Sounds very shortsighted.....

sorry, had to. ;)

Sounds like every accountant and every lawyer I ever hired!

Like the tech support guy at our point-of-service software place..... "Hey, I screwed up and processed this job, while the daily report was running, so now it's messed up.  How do I fix that??"    "well, you're not supposed to do that"

No Kidding?

No Worries

Or, you could put it on the rear fender, facing backwards...  That way it can be looking at where you've been  ::)

I got that from reading a goggle search on placment of the light when I was thinking of placing the light on my bike, and it made sense to me and one would take any help they could get same as your gremlin bell.

I agree.  I placed it based on what I saw in a similar Google search. I appreciate everyone's input.  Thank you all.

I would say the top of the light fixture parallel with the ground.

Well supposedly you need to have the bike upright and level, then the head should be looking at the road ahead to see where you are going, to far forward and the head will be looking at the tire and to far back and it would be looking at the sky.

Dam, that is sage.

Can anyone tell me how to determine the proper placement of an Indian Head Fender Light?
