Didn't know there were 2 sizes....I'll measure the one in the back tomorrow

Is it tomorrow yet?  :-)

Interested in knowing myself!

Troll,

Is this the same tip you have?  It is a Fatboy 7inch.  Another eBay seller of this 7" tip also mentioned in his ad that some Fatboy's have wider fender and need the 9 inch tip.   So there are two sizes a 7" and a 9".   What's yours?   My fender is off the bike at a paint shop so don't have it to measure.  Thanks.....

They do not quite line up with the edge, but they are pretty close. They bend easily and you can "adjust them" to get the best fit. They all seem to have foam inside so they hold their shape.

I went with tips designed for a FatBoy. Not a perfect fit, but close..cheap, too Can't seem to find a good shot of the front..must be here, somewhere.

Love that tip!   Thanks for the photo...Im going to keep my eyes open for that!

I was looking for tips without Indian markings and did purchase these, but had the same experience with these tips from this seller. Quality is as high as the price, but they simply did not fit the fenders well enough for me. Seller was good about it, took them back and gave me a refund.
My 2002 800 has the heavy decals on the fenders, so the rear tip actually covered up the end of the decal, so that had the wrong aesthetic as well. So I gave up on fender tips for now.

Ebay has them all the time.  I'm going to order one similiar to the one I had on my 1st Drifter in a couple weeks.

As far as leather mud flaps, FRANKS LEATHERS!!!  I'm going to be buying another set hopefully soon.  Right now, I have to pay the freakin' government even more taxes on top of what I'm currently being raped and of course, higher property taxes/school taxes in this Liberal hell hole state.  As you can tell, every spring, the tax man puts me in a really pissy mood.  Just once I'd like to get a thank you card from any of the freeloaders I am supporting...

Can't wait for Spring...

Has anyone installed any chrome fender tips on their 1500 drifter ... I have one on the front of the front fender but want to even it out on the front lower and rear ... I have found Indian tips but they are dull metal and I'm not much on that ... Thanks for any input !

I have not seen any made just for the Drifter's or others beside the Indian front tip that fits Drifters pretty good but front tip only that sound like you already have.

Have you thought about the mud flaps?  You can get those custom to what style and look you want and they also serve a purpose besides looking pretty .  Here's a link from Chilhowee Leathers in Oregon that I bought mine from and are really cool.....
