Howdy Trall,   Again the front fender rail is for a Yamaha 1100 classic. The front fender on our drifters is much longer than the yamaha classic so the rear brackets on the rail cannot be directly attached to the rear mounting points on the forks. So I added a bracket extension to each side to complete the mount. I also extended the tubes of the rail to make them longer or it would look like shit. Remember Yamaha has two style of front fender rails for the 1100 classic you need to get the one that also attaches to the front of the fender.

CrshOverride, Hey man tool bag is just mounted to the light bar. It sits about 2 1/2 inches above the fender so I have had no issues.

Pics are from the Loneliest road in Nevada Hwy 50. I was just leaving Ely Nv on my way home to Las Vegas. Great ride a total of 2500 plus miles thru minn, nd, montana, northern idaho, central wash, central oregon down to Boise and then from the north border of Nv to Vegas. Helluva a ride in late Sept. Just me an my drifter.

I had a few requests about the front rail on my drifter. It is a front fender rail for a 1100 Yamaha classic that I had to modify to fit the drifter.

On a side-note...how is that tool-bag mounted? It looks like it's nearly riding on the fender. I was going to mount mine below the light as well but was worried that it would hit the fender during suspension travel. Any issues with yours?

Very nice fender tip on your Drifter.   I read your post that it's from a 1100 Yamaha Classic.   I found that fender tip on eBay and was wondering exactly what's needed to modify it to fit a Drifter front fender.

What parts are needed, I am looking to add one possibly.

The one on eBay has two rear mounting points near the forks left and right side and had one right in the front middle.

Thanks in Advance.

If you expand the pic you will see that the upper rail bolts to the fender. That is why I chose it!

What keeps it from moving up and down? Or are side bolts enough?
