i completely agree but with me getting a drifter for $2k including the vike lift an her vulcan 750 costing us $700 ypu can see where we dont have those kind of funds lol i have wanted a drifter for YEARS my exception was getting a mean streak looking back i wish i woulda put drifter fenders on my meanstreak but i am happy with this set up

It has a thermostat gauge in the tach. I will look into that though. Plastic gear on anything is just cheap louzy ass bankers engineering i hate that shit it is what has ruined the US auto makers

I really don't know if that engine had the plastic oil gear...but I would look into it if I were you...

You can buy a IR temperature gun for as little as about $20 from ebay..it's not the most accurate thing in the world but would be handy for monitoring the head temperature for increases..

The addiction continues. Sooo the wife feels like i spend too much time with big bertha (my drifter) and not enough time with her... her first thought was add a 2 up seat to the drifter we ride together........ hmmm no my bike solo seat looks great comfy and ahhhhhh no... so she wants her own bike again.... if it doesnt bleed green it doesnt belong in my garage so we found this bike for an insane deal on craigslist guy had it listed for 2 months at $1200. We test road it played the back an forth game i said 700 an walked away he called bike an said yes we picked it up for $700 wife is thrilled
