Coupe

I have a pair on new chrome lights, but no light bar. If you have an interest, just send me a pm.

That's why I'm still looking for OEM Passing Lights. They would be too close to each other.

Inside. Mine have H-3 bulbs inside. Wouldn't last very long on the outside..bugs, rocks, etc would take it right off

CDNRatMan

Troll does it go on the outside, because my passing or spots are a solid unit and you can not get inside the glass.

I used Krylon stained glass color coating

That gives a much "softer" look then mine.  I like it!

Only thing is, if you use the stock light bar, the driving lights will be close to the headlight, like you see in my pic (the driving lights and the headlight only have about 1/4" between them).  If you ever decide to use a fairing, you won't have enough room between the lights to fit the fairing.  In that case, you'll have to have a light bar like Troll has.

Seems like I remember that now...  What did you use to dye the lense?

No Worries

Troll

My lights are F&S chrome. I dyed the INSIDE amber. Not too dark, so they are still useful as driving lights

Hey Moose. I believe those are the stock ones with no room for the passong lights. I'm looking for RatMan's chrome size. Do all the newer chrome ones, with passing lights, fit the 1999 year?

You can use the stock bar to mount passing lights.....I did.  Just drill the mounting holes and wire them up!

I'm going to message the previous owner and see where they got it. I'll put a picture of mine up.

CDNRatMan

mine was a F&S for a 1500 and it fit the 800 no issues.......

Yup the stock one. Mine came with the stock and the fire and steel one in black already installed. No idea where he got it tough.

CDNRatMan

is that the stock light bar? I have that .....

here is the stock bar and then the chrome one prior to powder coating....

I hunted and searched for a long time for black ones and found nothing, so like PC said I got chrome and powder coated them, and the results were bang on......

Might be easier to find chrome ones and have them powder coated.

Yup, I'm still looking for some Fire & Steel Black Passing Lights for my 1999 1500. I just happen to miss out on a pair from ebay. Arghh
