Wow, I never thought of it I guess.  I try not to leave it places I think it's that much of a problem, but I guess anything can happen about anywhere.  It only takes one crud-ball to think he wants it enough to risk it.

So the fork lock isn't enough???

Definetively not! I have heard about teenagers that are able to break the fork lock just with a short hit on the handling bars...I've never used that fork lock. I don't trust it, and here in Spain, you should ALWAYS leave your bike locked....
That's life...

All Drifter owners have the same problem...I will show you a picture with the solution a friend (another drifter owner from Madrid) and myself found....:

The front bike is my friend's bike, and the one behind is mine. The picture was taken some time ago in front of a Motorcycling bar in Santa Engracia street of Madrid....

man I have to buy a lock now if I am going to be going to Drift in is that the word? Heck we don't even lock our doors here, well don't own nothing worth stealing in the first palce but crime rate is way low here compared to down south.

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

I use a disc lock on the rear wheel.  If you back up to a curb, then you put the lock in front of the rear caliper. If you have it so you have to back out, then behind the caliper..of course, I also have the fork lock and my .45...

Here's what I went with.  It is heavy!  If you have no place to store it, then wear a backpack and transport / store it in there.

You can always swap out the disk for one with holes from another VN model. I can't see how anybody could ever steal it with the crowd around it though...won't somebody say something?

Hi, bikers

I have a small problem, because I have several padlocks, but all of them type of fork, for fixation in the front brake disk; but the front brake disk of the drifter has no any hole, so...
¿what kind of locking devices are you using for your bikes? I'd prefer something small, because I dont use saddlebags, so I dont have any place to keep it while riding.
