oh and something really the 1500 riders want to forget.....

800's are nicer looking and cool to ride.......

i admit that stipped down wothout bags and such then 800 is a cooler looking ride but with bags its hard to tell the difference look wise. Plop my 240 LB butt on the seat and there is a hell of a lot of difference. The 1500 is bigger in all the right places. It has a lot more grunt. Plus no chaiin and caebs to eal with. Before i found my 99 1500 I almost bought an 800. Im glad i have my 1500

Early 800s are "blacked" out, while 1500s and later 800s have many chrome parts...

99/00 1500's were blacked out too.

anna nother thing....

the 1500 (at least the later ones, I believe) have the fuel gauge, 800's do not.
the 1500 has air covers on both sides, whilst the 800 only on the right side.
Price:  average prices I see in my area $1000-2000 higher on the 1500's
No Worries

Clearly, CDNRatMan has lost his mind the 1500 is way cooler in appearance.

Speedo's
800's have a black face
1500's have white

I think this is across the board, but I'm not absolutely certain.

The 800 also has a hidden monoshock in the rear where the 1500 has two shocks in plain view (one on each side).

Apparently the bikes are totally different.
I have 1500cc Drifters and am thinking about getting an 800cc Drifter before all the low miles/nice ones are gone.

What are the many differences between the 1500cc and the 800cc Drifter....a complete list would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
