mellowed out over the years.......lol....I must be dead at my age then......lol......

I have the stock exhaust system on my bike and I just love the sound, not to loud but enough to hear when I am riding

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

I have heard about some drilling out thier stock exhaust but I don't know anything about it. I too would like to have an exhaust system somewhere in the middle of stock and straight pipes. Just a low rumble, not so loud that I can't hear my mp3 player .
In my younger days I wanted as loud as it would go....Ive mellowed out over the years.  ;D

I know, somewhere this has been brought up before, I just can't seem to find it anywhere, so don't everyone at once jump on me.  Looking for some "louder" pipes for the 800 Drifter.  I don't want to "destroy" the stock one, because in a few years I'll be moving back to Germany to retire (for good) and the Germans are very anal about noise pollution.  Don't really want to pay tons of money, for V & H or any other name brands, but I like the look of fishtails, I believe it goes with the style of the bike.  So guys and gals, give me your thoughts or suggestions on what I should do. (I just sold my 2008 HD Nightster, which was tooooo loud.  Don't want that sound anymore)
