Luckily, here in Mississippi, we have another few months before most people put up their bikes..

Since it is my daily driver, I only took the car to work 5 times since last October..(snow, and Heavy rain).

When I lived in Colorado Springs, I rode all year except when there was snow on the road..
Even when the temps were in the teens, (Fahrenheit) I still rode..
You just have to dress for it..

I live it when the seasons change..
Here the best fall ride is the Natchez trace, good roads, 50mph limit, no commercial traffic, you can travel from Nashville to Natchez ms.

Well went for a run up the north hwy, Hwy 11 North and what a fantastic sight. That nature has the colour red so varied in its depth and hues is really awesome. I tried to get a decent picture but my camera was not cooperating with the idea. The ambient temps were in the 6 to 9*C or 42.8, 48.2*F range. So at 100kms (65 miles per hour) I was trying to figure the wind chill, then fell asleep, no I was home by then...lol....oh well.....
The colours along hwy 64 through the back country was really nice and such different colours, the yellow/reds, pale green, dark green, brown, tan, in the leaves was really an awesome ride, loads of moose hunters are out too and lots of ATV's. This means summer is over and that fall will be over really soon to and time to get my snowblower out once more.

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE
