LOL... same risers, engine guard on mine!   I added HD pegs, looked good works for me.

My jack looks similar but has some L shaped extensions which allows clearance from the oil pan.

'02 Vulcan Drifter 1500

I finally got some miles on yesterday and wow! what a difference! Between to risers and the highway pegs I now have a very comfortable all day cruiser. I went with the PhatII's mainly because it was one of the few riser kits that required no mods. Put the included studs in the center hole and install.

I'm 5'8", and it fixed all my comfort issues. I used the thunder kit that has Harley risers, but any pull back riser should work. Huge difference. The Harley bars are stainless steel and you will have to remove the locating tab on the throttle assy. This does not pose any problem, since the stainless bars are not as slippery as the chrome bars, and the throttle stays put just fine.

How's the fit on the risers?  I'm 5'7 and have the same problem.

funny you should say that about the H-Ds...The only time I raise my Drifter up is to replace a tire, or something like that...I have 4.5" pullback risers on my '01, and it makes a HUGE difference in how long my back will last before the pain starts. I put a set of H-D '83 dresser bars on and the width and pull back work out very well, and they don't leak oil...yet!

I saw that on the jack, not really a big deal for me. I work in a metal shop, have been welding/fabricating for 20 years, I'll figure something out ;D With 3 HD's in the garage, they'll see more time on the jack than the Drifter ;D

Good luck with the jack. You will need some kind of adapter to use it on the Drifter. I have the same one, and it hits the oil pan LONG before it touches the frame rails. eBay has a few of the adapters listed for a Vulcan... same thing you'll need

The other complaint I had was the lack of alternative foot positions. I like the floorboards, but after a while it's really nice to change up position so I added a Cobra engine guard(also sourced through Scootworks) and Kuryakyn small ISO-pegs(8032).

I can't wait to get some miles on her now!
I also ordered some crash guard chaps, but they're back ordered for a bit. I'll post some pics when I get them.
Since I have 4 bikes currently in the garage I figured it was time to pony up and get a mc jack as well, lol!

Phat II's

I used stock cables and the only thing I needed to do was to remove the clutch line and brake line from the cable guide and put them in the center. Plenty of slack with no binding.

After too much waiting I finally got to add some items to my drifter! ;D The big brown truck stopped by and dropped off some parts for me!

At 5'8" I'm somewhat vertically challenged, lol, one thing I've been wanting to change out is the risers, the only ones that had the rise and pullback I wanted were the Scootworks Phat II's. 2.5" of rise and 3" of pullback are just what I needed. The p.o. had added a Corbin seat with dual backrests and with the stock risers I was never really able to settle in and get comfortable. I got the micro-polished risers, saved a few bucks and they as good as chrome.
