Thought this link might help if you have MB. They even make one for the ladies.                                               http://www.antimonkeybutt.com/

Folks either love corbins or hate them. I've ridden on corbins for many years and find them to be comfortable after they and/or you get broken in... which can take a long time depending upon how you ride.

I have always preferred a firm saddle, and cannot stand the cushy soft ones...

I was thinking about buying the Corbin dual tourer seat,i gather they are firm but are they comfortable?

pcarrell

My corbin is too firm for me and the Mrs., so I'm planning on redoing it this winter.

chief

LOL... I have a corbin seat (on drifter and gw)... I have NEVER gotten the dreaded MB. One of the benefits of a firm seat.

I have the same set up as Chief, the Phatriser II are a very easy install. It took three rides to get the bars just right, no back problems or numbness in my right hand.

Personally, I need to stop every couple of hundred miles anyway - lol

What?  No monkey butt for you?

chief

I use phatt II's with oem bars and they are a lot more comfortable. Also with this setup you don't need to chance out cables, hoses and grips.

The 1500 has a plenty big tank for me. CAE can do a tank mod. Its an expensive mod for only a bit more range. Personally, I need to stop every couple of hundred miles anyway - lol

Go to Scootworks and look up Phatrisers II.  I'm planning this mod this winter as I've heard good things about it (and you only have to reroute the cables, not replace).

As for the tank, FlatTop at C.A.E. ( http://www.freewebs.com/cycleart/ ) can widen your current tank, but I'll warn you.......It ain't cheap!  (Look in the photo gallery section under "Product Gallery".)
