When I first got it, the steering head bearings were bad, but since I installed an all-balls kit, there were no issues with anything until the trans problem this Summer.

126,000...any other problems..?

Going on 126,000.....had a trans bearing go bad this summer. Had to have the cases split. While they were in there, I told them to replace anything that looked sketchy...they rebuilt the water pump, replaced the clutch spring (still the original clutch), checked the timing chains (they were fine) re-ring the pistons. They replaced the motor mount rubbers....Runs like a new bike..should last me another 10 years.
