Thanks for the offers, I already bought one and powder coated it black, do you need to change out the stator cover?

Old Drifter

I have the left side cover from a Meanstreak and I painted it to match the silver/gray covers on the '99 & '00. I also have a 2001 stator cover and I believe all the fasteners needed to do the mod. I just haven't decided to do the mod just yet.  8)

I have the full side cover from a 2001 (chrome) it is missing a couple of the extended bolts, but otherwise it is in good shape.  I will let it go for $25 plus shipping if interested.  Message me if you are interested and I can get you the shipping cost.

Sorry, I don't know either, you could get one off Ebay and see what it will take to bolt it on. If it don't work, relist it.
That would be the only way to find out if no one has an answer.

No problem, just thought I would throw it out there. I will do this sometime in the next year and report back.

I might mention that the left side engine cover bolts to the stator housing thus the reason I included the 2 stator cover drawings from the 2000 and the 2001.

The left engine side cover for the  1500 was changed in 2001. I have been thinking of putting one on my 2000. The first picture is of Glen Baker's 1500. I'm pretty sure this is a 1999/2000, anyone know for sure? If you notice it has the left side engine cover from the 2001 and up. Now to accomplish this I need to be able to bolt it on. Has anyone else done this? I'm not asking if I think the 1999/2000 looks better as is, just asking if anyone has done this or knows if it can be done?
