Don't know if this helps, but the Bearings for the neck have an ID of 35 mm, the OD is 55 mm, width is 14.5mm. I would think that the stem should be really close to the ID of the bearing.

for the 6004 axle bearing, ID is 20 mm, OD is 42 mm, width is 12 mm.  Axle  &  bearing ID should again be close.

Figured someone would know this one!  I've never measured it so I don't know... maybe the book says... I will do some research on this one.

Sorry have no clue. If it helps any, the axle is the same for all years and is the same for the 800 and 1500 - both classic and drifter.

The holder, however, is different for the 1999 and 2000 and is unique to the drifter... at least part number wise... 44037-1383. Others may fit/work... I have no idea about size and can't think of a way to get the size without measuring it.

Can anyone tell me what size the Stem Shaft is that connects the frontend to the frame neck on a 1999 1500. I am looking at doing some mods to the frontend but need to know this before I can order the parts. Also need to know the front axle size.
Thanks
