So I got my Nomad solo seat a few weeks ago and finally decided to put it on. Realized I have everything I need except the bolts themselves. Made sure the seat I bought had those hard-to-find brackets included, but completely glossed over the fact that no bolts are included. Anyone know what size the bolts are that connect the solo seat brackets to the bike?

Before you rush off you might want to consider butterfly or wing bolts, it means you can remove the seat without a spanner or wrench.

That's a good point John. I think I like that idea. I'll pick some of those up today. A day isn't complete without a run to the hardware store right?

With my corbin there is barely enough room for the socket to remove the oem bolt! A wing bolt won't work for mine. Not enough room to turn it !
If you foind any let me know.. its more or less impossible to finns that kind of fine thread here in sweden.
Went to 3 different hardware stores today and none of them had 6 x 1.25 . . . they more or less said "good luck finding it" because supposedly its a very odd size. Anyone know where I could find one online?
That's about as standard a metric size as there is....considered "normal" thread. 6x1.25 is the diameter and thread pitch...the length is about 12 mm.

I'm not a very handy guy, so all of this is pretty foreign to me right now. They had M6 x 1.00 and M8 x 1.25 at both stores, but not the M6 x 1.25. Just doing to searching online and am coming across the same issue.
You don't live that far from me...all the HW stores, wal mart, everybody has that size...home depot, menard's...
Sure they're not 6 x 1.0? I was thinking off the top of my head they were 6 by 1.0, but I don't know for sure without checking.
Don't think they are that thread...I could check, but they are pretty standard sizes....
The bolts for The dual seat horse shue bracket is 1.25. Same with bolts for handlebars down at triple tree.
I just went out in the cold(20 deg) garage and checked...I was wrong, it is 6x1.0...sorry, I knew there were a common size, just got the pitch wrong. I could blame it on being old, but I won't....

You will find the wing bolts at a disabled electric wheelchair shop, that's where I got mine.
