You will find the wing bolts at a disabled electric wheelchair shop, that's where I got mine.

I just went out in the cold(20 deg) garage and checked...I was wrong, it is 6x1.0...sorry, I knew there were a common size, just got the pitch wrong. I could blame it on being old, but I won't....

The bolts for The dual seat horse shue bracket is 1.25. Same with bolts for handlebars down at triple tree.

Don't think they are that thread...I could check, but they are pretty standard sizes....

Sure they're not 6 x 1.0?  I was thinking off the top of my head they were 6 by 1.0, but I don't know for sure without checking.

You don't live that far from me...all the HW stores, wal mart, everybody has that size...home depot, menard's...

That's about as standard a metric size as there is....considered "normal" thread. 6x1.25 is the diameter and thread pitch...the length is about 12 mm.

I'm not a very handy guy, so all of this is pretty foreign to me right now. They had M6 x 1.00 and M8 x 1.25 at both stores, but not the M6 x 1.25. Just doing to searching online and am coming across the same issue.

Went to 3 different hardware stores today and none of them had 6 x 1.25 . . . they more or less said "good luck finding it" because supposedly its a very odd size. Anyone know where I could find one online?

Before you rush off you might want to consider butterfly or wing bolts, it means you can remove  the seat without a spanner or wrench.

With my corbin there is barely enough room for the socket to remove the oem bolt! A wing bolt won't work for mine. Not enough room to turn it !

That's a good point John. I think I like that idea. I'll pick some of those up today. A day isn't complete without a run to the hardware store right?
