Those gas can saddlebags are a cool military/utilitarian look! Like the lights in the fill cap hole.

Ironraven and Old Drifter, I too like the off idea of the saddle bags, there is a young lad running about town on a 197? Honda CB 750 four and here is a picture of his saddle bags.......

Sarge really make a statement! You had an idea for the look and ran with it...Great job! Love the saddlebags.

Cool bike!
That's not my kind of look, but I really like it.
BTW, do those mirrors let you see well the back of your road? Their stems are attached in a not so common place...

I think the important part is "are you happy with the results" if you are happy then just tell those that do not like it to shove it, if people do not like it then no reason to comment on it.
I like it it is different, not my cup of tea but I like that it is different.

Sarge is special and looking mighty good.   ;)

A bit too shiny perhaps, but I'm sure a few good rides should transform him from new recruit to seasoned veteran.   >:(

Work kicking my ass so far this week, but hopefully soon I'll be out wrenching again.  Gotta reinforce that headlight bucket with fiberglass hopefully tonight.  I have a plan to reinforce the inside with fiberglass and then just put a big honkin band-aid over the hole lol.  We'll see how it goes, Sarge has always been a rough 'n ready scoot; I don't want perfection and chrome to polish :D

So this winter, I got a little worried about the state of my poor Drifter's tank, so I pulled it

And I was wondering why his headlight was rattling... figured that out quick enough.

So I got out the tools and started going to work.  Good thing too, this poor fella was THRASHED!

I mean I figured as long as I was doing the tank I might as well....

Layers and layers!

Finally down to the metal... the poor bugger!

Then I sent him over to a good buddy of mine to get some band-aids on his owies.

And then he got some new color

And a little bit of attitude

And some more attitude

And damn it I'm not finished yet, but it was FUCKING SNOWING this morning so I guess I've got a couple days lol.

And some new artwork
