Hi there from Illinois.  Your a tad bit north of me.....  Thanks for the Road Burner post.  Cool Bike and trailer you have......I will be installing mine soon. They look really Awesome/Cool on your bike.  I seen your other posts about the VH pipes / Road Burner and the Smartpartz baffle you can add- http://www.smartpartz.com/SPZRB275.html  Thanks Again.....

If you did not have a police sound issue which I don't  would you-

Do the Road Burner Exhaust with nothing else OR I will need to add the Smartpartz baffle because without it is crazy loud? ???

Did you buy the Roadhouse set from Bam Bam?  That looked like a sweet set and if I had a extra money might of bought it but did not.

I installed a set on my 800 last summer, without baffle It was as loud or louder than v&h longshot! You can install fishtale at an angle, it's pretty common on other brand

V&H and Road burners are supposed to be close in sound and db rating.

Checking if anyone has bought a Road Burner Exhaust set and installed it on their 800 Drifter?  It's made by the same company Hard Chrome exhaust- http://www.hardkrome.com/motorcycle-exhaust.php?hkID=102

If you have installed the Road Burner Exhaust how do you like it?

My main question is there a way to install fishtail exhaust tips?  The pipes are lined up to each other so the top pipe would have to be cut back for both tips are offset and fit somehow?

or

Maybe extend the bottom pipe enough to add two fishtail exhaust tips?

Is there a way??????????
I was wondering about the road burners too and if they were NOT as loud as the Vance and Hines...

But sorry I cannot help you with your original post. I have no experience with them.

Havent used one but I looks like it would be pretty easy to install and should be pretty efficient.
I'd check and see if it has removeable baffles.
