progress is slow, isn't it? at least here it is...too many home projects, and not enough time... Anyway, I got my tail light bracket finally painted and put together... Reminds me of something we've worked on at the shop....
Got the parts I've been waiting for back from the powder coater as well. They did my risers in a "gunmetal gray"... not sure I'm crazy about it. Then there's the one-off light bar, which I think turned out OK.
Now I've just got to get some parts bolted on. Etc.
Yes, planning on it.... Of course, I was planning to have it done end of May, but that isn't working out so well...
But I sure HOPE I can get it done by drift in.... At least I've started going back together now.
GB: Are you planning on having that 800 ready to go for Drift In?
I'm not sure we're going to get any more bright sunlight this year... I thing that was a couple weeks ago, and it's done....
I think that when you get it all together, we need pics in some good sunlight. That thing is going to be something just glistening in the sun!
Quote from: pcarrell on May 21, 2015, 07:39:09 AMThanks, I hope so.... I'm pretty sure my wife will be glad when it's done....That is really going to be something when it's done! Looks great!

more small progress....
I finally got a box of parts back from the powder coater today.... Now I'll have plenty to do this weekend, if I can find time.
Great colors greenbarn. The combo is beautiful!
GB - Nice two tone with the single black strip....I like it man.....and of course am all for the "blackening" thing.
Quote from: Troll on May 18, 2015, 08:16:33 AMThem's some nice looking Orange bikes.....I love that color... I've been thinking about doing a repaint on the 1500, but as much as I like the orange, I'm afraid it would come out looking like a big cremesickle...I did my Hotrod in GM Sunburst orange about 10 years ago...and my FLT in 2003...slightly different GM orange....
I think that, that simple single line just makes the colours pop and bam right at you, sometimes less is best. I can not wait to see it in person....
That's looking really sweet greenbarn!
