Quote from: greenbarn on August 01, 2014, 21:38:48 PMThe Kuryakyn pegs and mounts are expensive, but the quality is top-notch. Good luck!Nice foot pegs, Reveen. I need to find something to replace the ones on the 800 - they are the "cheap" looking ones.

if you can not find black just take yours in and powder coat them.

Thanks! Its very nice to be able to stretch my legs out a bit. Best part is, I can adjust them to many different positions if I feel like it should be higher/lower/closer/further from me.
Quote from: CDNRatMan on August 01, 2014, 16:51:45 PMThey really are high-quality and the black looks great with the black frame. You can adjust them in many different ways, including the tilt of the peg so your feet sit nice and flat on them. Next mod for me is to get some black handlebars and grips. I'm trying to de-chrome everything up front so it all matches.I like those, now to start my winter list and add those to it.....

Got home from vacation and my highway pegs had arrived! I went with the Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset mounts and the Kuryakyn Trident pegs to match the black frame. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Of course, the pegs came with one hex key but there are three different sized hex nuts on the peg so I had to make a quick trip to the hardware store to get some additional keys. No big deal though . . . installation was a breeze and I think it looks pretty damn good.

Awesome, thanks Cotton Mouth.
These are much easier on the wallet than the ones I posted. I'm right at 6'2" myself, so these would probably fit me just fine
Reveen, unless you are very vertically challenged or extra tall, something like this should work for you.
I am 6'2" and used the same clamps below, but with passenger pegs from a Vulcan Classic, which have a little bit of chrome on them. They work great and very comfy. I might end up getting these Rivco pegs since they are all black and are simple looking. Please let us know what you end up going with along with some pics when you are done.

Hello all!
I'm ready to purchase some highway pegs to fit on my 99's black engine guard. I'd like to keep the mounting hardware as well as the pegs black to match the rest of the frame. Does anyone have any good recommendations? I've been looking at Kuryaken (which I will probably end up going with) but there are several different type of mounts and I'm not sure what would work best.
I like the idea of the Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset mounts so I can adjust them, but I'm not sure if it is nececcary or if I will be able to find a comfortable position on them.
