They have been very comfortable so far. I haven't even had to adjust them from the original position I put them in.

They are held on by small Allan headed screws that come with them. Just remove the old ones and use either of the new ones, because they send you 2 different lengths.

How do the weighted ends attach?  I've got Iso Grips but I think they're an older version, or are they all the same?

CDNRatMan

red bike red accent rings....lol and today I tested the grip weighted ends.......7 hours of riding and no numb hand no tingling no vibes felt through the bars....

Kuryakyn also makes the iso grips in black. I recommend those. Very nice looking and also comfortable.

These are the grips I have my eyes on! I think I'll wait and purchase them when I get my new bars just so I only have to put them on once.

got to agree with gdrudd13 on that they are really good and comfortable and once you add the weighted grip ends with the red accent rings, it looks really nice on the bike.....

Didn't even think about the accent rings . . . that sounds perfect!

Nice foot pegs, Reveen.  I need to find something to replace the ones on the 800 - they are the "cheap" looking ones.

The Kuryakyn pegs and mounts are expensive, but the quality is top-notch. Good luck!

if you can not find black just take yours in and powder coat them.

Those look great on there!  They look comfy too!

Thanks! Its very nice to be able to stretch my legs out a bit. Best part is, I can adjust them to many different positions if I feel like it should be higher/lower/closer/further from me.

I like those, now to start my winter list and add those to it.....

They really are high-quality and the black looks great with the black frame. You can adjust them in many different ways, including the tilt of the peg so your feet sit nice and flat on them. Next mod for me is to get some black handlebars and grips. I'm trying to de-chrome everything up front so it all matches.

Got home from vacation and my highway pegs had arrived! I went with the Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset mounts and the Kuryakyn Trident pegs to match the black frame. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Of course, the pegs came with one hex key but there are three different sized hex nuts on the peg so I had to make a quick trip to the hardware store to get some additional keys. No big deal though . . . installation was a breeze and I think it looks pretty damn good.

Awesome, thanks Cotton Mouth.

These are much easier on the wallet than the ones I posted. I'm right at 6'2" myself, so these would probably fit me just fine

Cotton Mouth

Reveen, unless you are very vertically challenged or extra tall, something like this should work for you.

I am 6'2" and used the same clamps below, but with passenger pegs from a Vulcan Classic, which have a little bit of chrome on them. They work great and very comfy.  I might end up getting these Rivco pegs since they are all black and are simple looking.  Please let us know what you end up going with along with some pics when you are done.

Hello all!

I'm ready to purchase some highway pegs to fit on my 99's black engine guard. I'd like to keep the mounting hardware as well as the pegs black to match the rest of the frame. Does anyone have any good recommendations? I've been looking at Kuryaken (which I will probably end up going with) but there are several different type of mounts and I'm not sure what would work best.

I like the idea of the Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset mounts so I can adjust them, but I'm not sure if it is nececcary or if I will be able to find a comfortable position on them.

or maybe something like these Kuryakyn Tour Tech Mounts

I've never had pegs before so I'm pretty clueless. Anyone have any suggestions or experience that they would like to share?
