I would imagine it will hold up just fine . Definitely enough room for your Drift-in run now with this bag and looks nice on the bike as well . Funny I was looking at bags earlier today for the rear rack on the 1500 and found these prices very reasonable . There was another I liked as well ( can't remember the model ) but it attached to the rear passenger back rest and had a roll bag on top . I watched the provided video , looked roomy and easy access to the openings . In the video they mentioned the weather bag did need to be taped along the seams of the provided weather proof bag . Something you may want to do to yours ?
Thanks D1 it is 16 long x 12 high x 11.5 wide, and it is really well made, not sure how it will hold up to the weather but it is going to be good for the season for sure.

Nice looking bag R man . Definitely looks like you can go on a vacation with that bad boy
What were the measurements on this ?
Sorry I thought I saw a few other locks on your bags.......my mistake....lol.....
The locks are to keep the honest people out, you're right. I have one lock, however that goes to the helmet holder spike on the clutch lever......
Thanks CM and Troll I think I saw lots of locks on your bag too...lol...just to keep them honest people from getting hurt.......
Looks a lot like my Saddlemen bag...You got any Bagels to go with them there Locks?
Nice work Ratman. Bag and the bike lookin' real good!!!
so put it all together and here is the results....
I can now call my bike Troll Jr. .............mmmmmmmmmm think Red will do however.......
Oh Troll you are a master of getting people to learn and follow your lead...
so Jafrum International had a sale this past week or so. I bought a Inspire 3005- Plain for $49.95. Figured I could not go wrong for the price. I got it and it is an impressive piece of luggage and huge, there is enough room in that sucker for my kit for a 3 month deployment. Very impressed with the quality of the piece.
here are a few pictures of the piece.
After I got home I think I figured it out about the knob.
Like most guys who like to tinker and putter about with things, prior to throwing something out I take parts off in case I would ever need to use them or have a reason for them. The first knob I think is like from a table saw or some saw for the guide on the table, that is why I only have one of them, this is more for making things tight and securing them, and not need tools to do it.
D1, only went with the ones in the picture and right after a test ride I'll let you know if I can see/feel any difference, but that Troll guy is moving up on my list for sure.........GB, you are going to love this one.......
You'll find every kind of threaded knob you ever dreamed of at a Ham Radio Swap Meet. I'm heading to the largest one in the world next weekend ( http://www.hamvention.org/ ), and there will be literally hundreds of booth's there with just knobs, let alone every other thing you can imagine. Look into Ham Radio stuff and you'll find knobs!
Ok so now you have two different style threaded knobs . Have NO clue what your up to , but sure it's going to be cool
I want to thank Troll for this idea and for the work involved, I know that GB will really like this idea.......and it is going to work really well.........now to go and get it done.......
