I adjusted the TPS and mended a bad wire to the TPS. 1SG CAV is running strong now. There is no black smoke, no stalling or hesitation. I found a site that shows how you can adjust the TPS to get rid of pings.

I had the throttle body replaced 18 months ago. It cost a whopping $1302.02
TPS is on the throttle body, facing towards the front cylinder. Now for the bad news; it is preset at the factory, not adjustable at all and should never be removed. If it needs replacement the entire throttle body has to be replaced. Kaw does not even offer the TPS seperately.
How easy is it to change the throttle position sensor, or to adjust it? Then where is it located? That seems to be the source of my problems.
Trying real hard to get it running right.
