Quote from: pcarrell on April 21, 2013, 13:16:34 PMYes it's hard to resist the comments about your bag rubbing, but I'll refrain.... I think Ratman and Drift1 have hammered you enough on that, PC.I run a bag there all the time and I've had no problems with that, but I do know the bag can't be very tall or it will rub the top of the fender on bumps and wear through the paint.
Seriously, though, I had a 5" round toolbag on the front of my 800 (I believe they are the same front end). It made a dull mark in the clearcote on the fender, from hitting the fender, so I took it off last fall. BUT, I just put progressive springs in the forks, and from what I can tell the ride is a whole lot better. Still, though, I'm going to re-make the tool bag in 4" size just to make sure. I liked it on the bike.
See, now there's that language barrier again...I thought ratman was referring to his ex wife as an old bag..not talking about his sack..
John.
I'm crying over here

I don't see how it could impact much...
I found a bag that would look great below the headlight on my 1500. Question: Has anyone experienced any problems with interference with airflow to the radiator with a front fender bag?
