And I'm happy for those benefits, too. That's the same thing I felt, the first time that I rode my bike after having put on the new exhaust... Amazing!!!
BTW, did it took you much money?
I am embarrassed to tell anyone how much it cost. It was not very much money. I live in a small town in upstate NY.

Okay, I bought saddlebag BRACKETS from a member here and THEN realized the hard bags would not fit because the DUAL tail pipes sat way way too high.
(Note: these dual pipes that came with the bike I actually did not like, just not my style.)
So, I took it to a local fabricator/custom exhaust guy.
Now some of you may not like the look, but to me it looks more like a 1939 Indian. It looks bad-ass.
And, the following benefits---The bike is QUICKER. The difference in exhaust back pressure has made the bike quicker AND the really annoying Back Firing that it did before is GONE! Poof!
And I like the sound better. It even sounds more like a 1939 Indian!!! And it is slightly less LOUD!
I win on FIVE counts:
1) Lower pipe so I can fit hard bags on easily
2) The bike is noticeably is QUICKER
3) No Back firing!
4) I like the SOUND better, not as loud, too!
5) Looks more like a 1939 Motorcycle
I am ecstatic!
Now, I just need some time to attach the saddle bag brackets and get those hard bags on this bike!!!!
