Whoo Hoo! Good for you George! Can't wait to see your pics! I have the show bug too! I've already started filling my calandar for 2010 shows around the state of Indiana. Last year I took best of show, top 5 bike, 2- 1st place meterics, 2nd place metric, 3rd place metric, and Best Themed Bike.
The fun thing about going to shows is meeting new people and traveling to new places. I don't know about Oklahoma, but Indiana is packed full of summer activities that include car & bike shows, so there are many to choose from. Keep on showing, your bike sounds awesome. Pictures! Lot's of Pictures!

Hello from Enid, Oklahoma

I have a 2000   800  Drifter  (sky blue?)

I entered it in the bike show(wideopenmag.net ) that was held over the weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma and won 3rd place in my class ( semi/stock) I have a Harley fairing and windshield and I custom made a lightbar for it, and a solo seat off a 1500 vulcan)

I was the only Drifter in the show (classified metric which there were alot of "metric" bikes in the show) I only had two weeks to prepare for the show and I didnt get all done what I wanted but I still got 3rd place ( Im sure if I hade finished up some details I could have got 2nd maybe even 1st) I will definately be ready for the next show.

I will try and get the pics and get them on the site for all to see.
