Oil spraying out inside right bell cover

That sounds like the Crankcase Breather. It is there to prevent the pressurization of the oil in the crankcase from ring blow-by. Problem could be as simple as too much oil in the motor, or as bad as excessive piston ring / cylinder wear. Check oil, of course with bike level; look at hoses, loose or cracked. I am uncertain if there is a valve in this system, someone here will know.  commonly called a PCV; that valve, if there is one, is the most common part in autos to cause this problem.

My 2002 1500 Drifter just started spraying oil out from a single hole at the bottom of the right side bell cover area. With the bell cover off, my hand gets a light spray of oil. Does anybody know what it is and why and how to fix it? Thanks for any help Barry
