I'm thinking that I do actually. But I need to double check.......how 'bout a complete parts bike at a really attractive price? :D........where do you live?

Ron

I think all I really need used will be those two parts.

BTW, I'm in central Indiana.

Well, it ran when I got it home, but later that day it decided it'd had enough of that silliness.  The points are toasted, so, I've got them on order.  In the meantime I've cleaned it up and have been looking at areas of attention.

Hey Ron,  you wouldn't have a stock seat and a left side tin would you?

Nice, except for the seat thats as stock as they come. I've ridden my 75 xs650 for 35 yrs, got it new at 16 yrs old. Was riding it till last yr when I bought my 02 800 Drifter. It always got attention wherever it was. I always chuckled when someone walked past a $ 15000 Harley and complemented the 650.

Nice bike!   I owned one of those, same exact colors,  in the early 80's.   It was a blast.  The mufflers we're shot so it was loud.   Enjoy.

The last car/ bike show I was at had several 75 kawi's there. They looked sharp just waxed and polished. Why change something that looks that good? by the way How does it run? and ride. any vibration?

>>75 kawi's <<  Typo?...It's a Yamaha, XS-650 There is a club for them as well, people modify them in all sorts of ways.
just a good base to 'express' I guess, one's ideas.

I know, I know, it's not a Kawi......but I got this smokin' hot deal on it!

Last night I swapped an old Honda Metropolitan scooter for this 1975 Yamaha XS650.

Sorry for the poor quality pic.....not my camera!

Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, but it's a cool old scoot!

I'll probably ride it like it is this year while I think about it.  Next winter could be interesting though...........(maybe a cafe racer, or a street tracker, or I do a chop & bob)

It came with that slick little solo seat in the first pic, and also a vintage king and queen seat (looks kind of goofy on it if you ask me).

All in all, I think it's pretty cool.

Just had to show it off a bit............

I have one of those in "basket-case" condition..a 72. Someday I hope to move it up the priority list. I intended to do a flat-tracker conversion on it. Like i said [intended-too] haven't yet :-[
