1999 1500 vs 2001 1500 same turn signals?

Well the person I am dealing with has them new in the package and it labeled 2001 Drifter 1500, now I dont know about the fit as you mentioned but I Am willing to try them, they are cheap and I already have a set I need to sell that definitely wont work, they are on eBay now, they fit the 800's I am told but not my 2 screw lens 1500.

I believe they are, unless someone has changed them out. I do know the ones for the Drifter don't fit very well, so folks use them from other models which appear to do better... !

The lens are the same... the housings are black on the 99... chrome on the 01.

Hi all,
I need to know if the front turn signals on a 2001 Drifter 1500 are the same as the 1999 1500 Drifter.
A friend has some turn signal visors for a 2001 1500 Drifter and I am trying to see if they will work on my bike or not.
I have the 2 screw lens on my signals and the housing is oblong, not perfectly round.
If anyone knows that would be great, thanks
