Connect 300mm and 500mm exhaust tips with joint clamps

what do you think about these kind of joint clamps, are they suitable if you connect the 300 mm and 500 mm pipe extension to the pipes ends without bolts. These joint clamps are also used to connect car exhaust pipes. These connections are very tight and sturdy.
