Stuck in Neutral!

Here's the YouTube link. I'm on a side street coming up on a stop sign. As I'm downshifting from 2nd to 1st the Neutral light shoots on and the bike begins to coast. I attempt 2-3 more times to downshift in to 1st with no luck. Following day I realize I can roll it into 2nd but not 1st. She's on a jack and torn down at the moment. Expected to find bent shift forks or a busted tooth on the cam change drum. No luck! Has anyone run in to this issue? Next I'll be pulling apart the transmission.
