I agree with Old Drifter.  the hose clamps that came with the system are junk.  The heavy duty band clamps on the link will do the trick.....and stay away from wraps and sealants...

Do not use the bandage type stuff, it's junk, will make a big mess and could ruin your chrome pipes. I'd go with the clamps in the link that you posted, they will work fine.

My Silvertail exhaust combustion pipe leaks both end. Is these Exhaust Sealing Putty and Repair Bandage good to sealing these leaks and how long it keep tight? These Silvertail clips are weak so is these clips good:
