Good information on the shocks.
I too only check in here once in a while, like every 5 months or so...
Wintertime I work on project bikes and summer I am out riding.
It's the Covid 19 lockdown that has me searching through all the forums I am on...

And watching all the funny Covid 19 parody songs.
There is some really talented singer/musicians!

I haven't been on the site for quite some time as I bought another bike but I thought I would give a plug for the Progressive 944 series shocks as I installed them on my Guzzi and they would work quite well on the Drifter. You can adjust the preload by hand and they lower the bike 1" but the shock has the same amount of travel as the 13" shocks. Progressive has a video on the subject. How do I like the newish Eldorado? It is quite remarkable as the engine has a lot of power and torque. It shakes a little at idle but once you get going it is super smooth (rubber mounted) and has great acceleration and awesome ABS brakes and cornering ability for a long wheelbase heavy bike. Also I might add, that the Dunlop American Elites are quite good and would be another good choice for a tire swap on the Drifter. I hope all you guys and gals are doing great!
