Thanks for the info. I have checked out Osprey and they do have a bracket and some great looking bags. Chief if those black struts are available I would be interested and Ramakins if you have the struts and the bags please let me know.

I have a set of chrome loops, and a set of OEM black leather saddle bags I purchased for my 2001 , hardly ever used. I will have to look to see if I have a second set of struts. Willing to sell, if interested.

I believe I have some black ones and chrome loops... I was planning to use them as patterns since they are hard to find. They are not in great shape.

The OEM struts are nearly impossible to find. IF you go to www.osprey.com you can buy a set of aftermarket struts for $99.00 .

I am a new rider and recently bough a 2002 Vulcan Drifter 1500. It is my primary transportation so I need to put some saddlebags on it. I am trying to find a pair of chrome saddlebag struts that mount to the frame under the seat (K53021-101). They are proving to be a challenging item to locate. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
