I forgot to mention, when you pull off the fishtail tip, be sure to use a sawz-all and cut off the small pipe sticking out. This way after you do that and remove the plate welded in the fish-tip, you will have the hollowed-out look.          Hope it helped

Something I found

Take the fishtail tip off, then started to cut the plate spot welded inside with a cutoff wheel. Then slowly and gently using pliers pulled off what was left at the welds (wrapping the tip in towels and placing it in a vice helps). Next, I used a sharpened phillips screwdriver and a hammer and punched holes in the rear baffle plate (it is sloped so drilling is almost impossible). Once I poked plenty-o-holes in that, I took a piece of 1/4" rebar and bent a 90 degree angle near one end then sharpened the other. Then placed the sharpened end into the center of the pipe as far as I could get it then hammered it in, piercing the baffle. To get the rebar back out tap on the opposite side of the 90 degree bend (be sure when sharpening the end of the rebar that you also grind down the ridges so you will not get the bar completely stuck in there). Start up the bike and see if you like the sound, if you want louder.. you can do what I did and use a thicker piece of rebar. I finally ended up using 3/4" thick rebar! Pipe sounded great!
