Welcome! This is a great community of riders with a lot of knowledge. If you're not sure, just ask!  :D

Orgi - I like it man....and 800 with the original 1500 paint job.  Very nice and with the factory spots. Looks good.

Ogri; of an evening that you are bored and need some gentle reading go to the top of the page and see the tab marked or called Articles, well open that up and start reading about 800's and other mods......also go back in the 800 section to page one and start to read any threads that sound interesting, amazing the amount of skill and knowledge people here have and what you can learn.....

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Hello, I've just joined your happy band. I'm 54 and live in London, England and will be kicking the tyres of a Drifter 800 tomorrow that I found on ebay: https://imgur.com/a/sS3uy £3000 - $4250 USD

I haven't been this excited about anything in ages! I've been riding all my life; lots of Japs, a Harley, a Guzzi, a Triumph and a smokey BSA (I owned a car once but even that was a Triumph). I currently ride a yamaha 600 Fazer which is a brilliant all-rounder but is kinda boring.

I'm hoping you'll give me some tips and advice concerning the 800 - I do all my own maintenance.

'Bye for now!
