That's what happens when you don't practice the language. Glad you could interpret correctly....

It's the same for me, about english...  ;)

My bad....I thought twice about one "n" or two...without looking it up. That's what happens when you don't practice the language. Glad you could interpret correctly....

Kw, I know that Ratman has already answered your question...
But I want to keep my promise: I used a flat black paint; it's called Plasticolor and, as far as I can see, it's made in Germany.
Happy New Year, everybody!  8)

kw, used a plastic paint like Kryolan, Just be sure to wash the inside of the screen with a really good cleaner and degreaser, other wise the paint can orange peel..........

_ What kind of paint did you use on the bottom of the windscreen....looks like a flat or semi-gloss black.
- you painted the inside surface...yes?

Yes, I've painted the inside surface, but actually I can't remember what kind of paint I used.
I'll take a look and let you know, once I'll get back home this evening.

Mittico....that looks good...even sideways.

I've got this one (see pic), coming from an italian maker.
Originally, it was all clear and lately I've black painted the inside lower part.
P.S.: Sorry for the pic layin' downside... dunno why!

I've had 2 Cee Bailey windshield replacements & stuck with the stock height.

Personally, I like the Rifle windshields with the matte black mounting brackets.  You can order larger shields on their web site.  They also have lowers for the Drifters too.

I have the original egg shaped one mine came with. IMO, that has the more vintage and minimal look.

Ratman: Like the painted lower section. What did you use? ... did you apply from the inside?

I have the original Drifter windshield and I like it..got it off ebay several years ago and it came with the mounting brackets. It was new old stock. It is smaller and more egg shaped. I like it.

I have the same one (original Drifter windshield and mount brackets) and got it the same place new. Great windshield.

on my 800's I like the wide and eye level screens and I again a personal preference like to paint the inside of the lower part of the screen to hide the wiring behind it, and to make my decals stand out......

Which windshield, tinted or clear has a more vintage look.also is the taller windshield project a more vintage look. If you've changed to an Indian decal, who would you recommend buying the decal from.  I know this is pretty much individual preference, but what do you think?
